The origin of the handshake is from before telly and meant that a gentleman would have to put down his weapon before partaking, so was non-threatening and showed a mutual respect.

There's nothing stopping you from using the other hand to deliver a sly rabbit punch to the side of the head though.

People need re-assuring contact son, it seems to be in our genes. besides I think you can tell a lot about someone in the firmness of their handshake. Limp lettuce types v good grip types.

cant stand that type of handshake, like shaking a blamanche or blancmange (whatever floats your boat)
