Probably just coincidence, but when you look at the Xmas/NY period over the past three years there does seem to be something of a pattern.

In season 2013-14, between 21st December and 25th January we won just one game in 6 (against the struggling Torquay at Plainmoor), losing the other 5, scoring 5 goals (3 of them at Torquay) and conceding 9 (GD -4).

Last season (2014-15), between 20th December and 10th January we won just one in 5 (the Boxing Day game against struggling Cheltenham at SJP), losing the other 4, scoring 3 goals and conceding 9 (GD -6)

From 19th December to 2nd January we have lost all 4, scoring 3 goals and conceding 10 (GD -7).

Whatever happens in the rest of this season, be wary of next year's Xmas/NY period!

The worrying thing is its a law of averages that we will have a really bad start to a season and arrive at Xmas and new year in the bottom four or five and have a festive period with the stats you have shown then we would be in the poop

I'd be more wary of The Trust blowing smoke up the untouchable one's proverbial than anything else.

Backing Gary Caldwell, thanks Matt and good luck.
Currently seven points worse off than this point last season, and that this season we didn't wait until September to start picking up victories.

In RaWZ we trust....Amen.
The next two home games are against Accy & Oxford..!..Nul points against struggling teams at SJP recently,so those two coming up hardly inspire confidence.
