Looking like all games behind closed doors. Season ticket holders can watch on ifollow, but no football in pubs.
This would be a major game changer.
Where are you getting that info from denz?

I thought the evidence was rather thin about transmission when people are outdoors.perhaps just the hospitality boxes should be closed:unsure:

compared to being confined in a stuffy office all day...?

Argyle will not be happy as they must have been looking to benefit from a 16k gate when we visited them.

Coincidentally measures to be ramped up the day after a government minister, living with a mother in the high risk category, confirms she has contracted the virus.

That has naff all to do with it. Common sense says stop all mass gatherings. You'd be alright up at Accrington!! Not sure why its suitable to ban the fans but still make the players mingle. Surely if one or two players go down with it, they'll even have to stop the games. But I guess the football powers that be and broadcasters hold the trump cards.

So it looks increasingly likely that some Football League matches will be played behind closed doors between now and the end of the season.

If this is the case and the club's main source of income is taken away, can the players reasonably expect to be paid? Many businesses will be facing the same issue over the next month or so, and with several banks committing to allow 3-month mortgage deferrals, perhaps football clubs will need to freeze salary payments until things clear.

What a mess.

Would be a breach of contract surly?

The EFL should just suspend games till mid way through or the end of April. Clubs will suffer beyond belief because of this.

How will other who have season tickets approach this? Would they ask for a refund or would people forgo there refund to help the club?

The players will get paid, Their contracts are not like us mere mortals, Same if a club goes into administration, The players still get paid, As for ST holders, I really can't see City fans asking for their money back, We all know how the model of the club runs. To those who said about 2 years money in the pot, All well and good but this virus is unprecedented and that pot will be used to run the club if we lose that matchday income
