I noticed on MOTD tonight that the pitch at St Mary's is terrible. It looks almost like a January pitch. I assume they over-used it in the summer. Chas' pitch knocks spots off it.

I know we've started taking it for granted now but the pitch has stood up remarkably well to that run of games and is looking unbelievably good for the end of October.
