Lloyd James played 99 games for us in two seasons when we finished 4th and 5 th. That was much better than we achieved last year after he had left. And much better than in the five years before he joined us. So our best two seasons in the last eight were the two that Lloyd James played for us

The side he played for last season jumped a dozen league places and finished higher than us, achieving their best ever season.

You've quoted team stats not personal stats. The bottom line is Lloyd James achieved nothing whilst with us and was generally ineffectual. Sideways and backwards, little drive or ambition to get forward, doesn't score, and is not a tackler either. The fact FGR have loaned him to a non league side hslf way through the season says it all. Clearly he's not integral to their team, just as he wasn't to ours.

However, the best thing is, Lloyd's best performance at SJP came the season after when he returned with Forest Green and ran the show from central midfield.
