Interesting press release here from the Shrewsbury Board after a disappointing season for them. This is the way people who profess to run a club should act in my opinion. Their refreshing openness and a willingness to recognise their mistakes is in stark to our people who remain silent whilst seemingly mired in stupefying inertia.

Already covered here ;)

Good to see that the Shrewsbury board are accepting some responsibility for this seasons poor performances on the pitch.

They managed to get Galatasaray to play there in pre-season, that surely helped balance the books? Nice to see them accepting blame, Tis could do with taking note. After every loss it's anybody's but his fault.

Such openess and communication we could only dream about. Fair play to the Shrewsbury board for sticking their hand up and then committing to do something about it. I wish them the best of luck.

Unfortunately, the City Board are unable to see that there is a problem in the first place.
