So? What is so strange.? What is your conclusion?"
Not a conclusion just an observation.

Trump, for all his BS and shoot from the hip, Presidency by Twitter crazy stuff, seemed not only to have kept a lid on the Middle East but also edged Israel nearer some relations with the Arab world through the various accords signed.

Has Sleepy even been to Jerusalem yet? He certainly seems to have kept quiet this week.

You don't need to go to places any more : you can have conference calls.
Israel will assume that Biden will be more sympathetic towards the Palestinians than Trump was.. Netanyahu, who is similar to Trump in that he is a liar, manipulator and corrupt, will see his best chance to avoid any progress with tripartite talks is to muddy the waters. The illegal eviction of many Palestinians from the homes they have lived in for decades was the first provocation. The appearances of hundreds of radical, far-right Jews and a Jewish far-right politician was the second provocation. The arrival of hundreds of heavily armed Israeli soldiers
onto the scene with the subsequent shootings and beatings was the third provocation. And the decision to carry out all these provocations in the Holy Month of Ramadan
was the fourth provocation. Palestine starts to fight back, so Israel conducts direct bombings on the tightly packed residential districts of Gazza.
Although it's perfectly clear who is the Goliath in this struggle and who provoked the trouble, most of the Western world will blame Palestine. Why? Because the geopolitical
interest in the Middle East - the one that the West wants- is best served by turning a blind eye to Israell's frankly fascist behaviour. Another case of the naive and willing ostriches
ignoring the truth looking at them squarely in the face for convenience sake, due to their bias, and due to overwhelming pro-Jewish propaganda.
All of this makes it much harder for Biden to hold any talks with Palestine and Israel/
What happened to the Jews (and to a lesser extent to other ethnic groups) in the 2nd World War was atrocious. This could happen because normally decent folk
turned a blind eye to what they must have known was occurring. We should not turn a blind eye now to the incarcelation, abuse, cruelty and segregation of the
Palestinians by the Israelis now. They clearly have not learned any lessons : the oppressed have become the oppressors

None of the above explains to me why this has happened a few months into a "more sympathetic to Palestine" Biden Presidency compared to Trump. If Israel wanted to up the ante, then logic says they would have got away with more under Trump/Republican Presidency but the opposite has happened.

New York's AG saying that the investigation into Trump's business dealings is now a "Criminal Inquiry" Wonder how far this will go and will it be seen by some as Democrats getting back at Republicans?

I think we can assume that it absolutely will be seen that way.

Trump and his family and cohorts will certainly claim that this is a Democrat conspiracy, but the fact is that the investigation into his tax affairs and his false declaration re the value of his assets began a long time ago, it's just that the law enforcement couldn't act while he was President.
I wonder if he 'll shout out a call to arms to his supporters?

In the US, it always seems that tax etc gets them in the end.

The IRS is not to be messed with...Some serious jail time in the US if you do fall foul of them.

I don’t know if Sepp Blatter is still on their hit list, but he would be well advised to stay away from any US territory’s if he is.

True, but the overvaluation of the company's assets is also a big deal
I guess Trump won't do time if found guilty. Massive fine, maybe? Or years of appeals?
Doesn't matter really what his punishment is if he's found guilty, The main thing will be he won't be allowed to run for any office in the US.
