I heard it mentioned on Radio Devon that we had hoped to have something sorted early next week but now it will take longer. Possibly points towards the chosen one already being in a job and more time needed to get them out? Either that or second interviews required as close between a couple?
Or another way of looking at that is that the club were going to announce KN early next week and were going to let him know fter today's game. Given what happened they are now getting cold feet and want to go back to other candidates?

I doubt the board would let one performance sway the decision if after a rigorous interview process they thought KN was the best candidate?

Highly unlikely I would think. If they were going for Kev they would have just announced it rather than waiting.

I meant by other exewebers. It appears as though people are resistant to his appointment.
Are they? I haven't really seen anything to say either way. There hasn't really been a big consensus on anyone that I have seen except definitely not Tis.

I thought the same. If Kev was a done-deal then what conceivable reason would there have been for not announcing his appointment ahead of today’s game?!

I'm confused as to why Neil Eardly isn't a prime candidate? If you manage Solihull Moors and you're 3rd in the national league, that success speaks for itself.
Why? because we are only in October, fair play he’s done well for Solihull in the last 12 games. He hasn’t got alot of achievement to his record in the last 10 years with Wimbledon and Notts County-He was Sacked by both. I don’t know what qualifies him to manage us in L1. He’s the bookies massive odds on favourite now so he’s obviously got half a leg already in the job.

KN is a good guy, after Torquay went and studied looked at becoming a better coach/manager. I believe he could keep us in League 1. However it would be next season I would worry, its fine coaching a team , but can he build a new team, which is what we will need next season.
