My guess is that if we were going with KN, then we'd have announced it by now. Similarly, if it was someone out of a job, then we'd have done similar. I'm therefore thinking that we have offered it to someone in a job somewhere and hence we have to go through the negotiations regarding compensation and which member of his team can come etc etc.

If we are yet to offer it to anyone then that would be highly frustrating. It's been almost 3 weeks now.

Given how the transfer window went I wouldn't rule out the latter

In fairness Tisdale would not be a terrible choice even now, but he imho despite how much i like Tisdale, would not be the right choice here and now.

I think if Tisdale came back the infighting would be worse than the Tories in the House of Commons!

If it’s Nicholson from me it’ll be a groan, anyone else it’ll be a who? Before Taylor’s departure I’d pretty much heard of none of the names bandied about on this thread. But, barring Tisdale, whoever it is will get my support as long as we remain above the relegation places.
