That is ridiculous for the conference. Why do we have to suffer the ignominy of Salford and Harrogate in the league when real clubs like this are languishing in non league?

Because Salford and Harrogate got promoted, Crowd size has nothing to do with where you are in the footballing ladder, You have to earn it fair and square.

As an aside , Harrogate don’t seem to be doing too badly at this stage of the season either.

Very true Banksy, What would people say if we got to L1 and our average gates were well below others or the Accy Stanley fans? Bet they don't give a stuff about Crowd sizes.

It is nothing to do with earning it fair and square, and everything to do with financial doping. Take Rushden and Diamonds whatever happened to them, and their shiny new built stadium ? When their benefactor pulled out "they were toast" !

Of course they earned the right to be promoted, They did it on the field, So they have owners who have cash, So what? Football is a business, Even as low as we are and the Conference, They did not "Steal" promotion, Its the way of the world, I was replying to a posting about attendances, Accy, Morecambe, Burton, Fleetwood have the right to be where they are because of on the pitch success and their owners, Wrexham, Stockport, Chesterfield etc are where they are because of the same reasons. As for R&D, Their old owner decided to not put anymore money in, Gave the club away to whom I can't remember and then it went tits up.

A home sell-out for us tonight. Makes me a bit worried. Nearly every time we get a big home attendance we end up losing. Hopefully not tonight.
