Just over 3,000 tickets each for Hartlepool and Torquay at £41.00 a go

Paid less at Wembley!

In RaWZ we trust....Amen.
NL clubs appeal about sanctions given for not fore filling fixtures due to Covid has been dismissed.
To add insult to injury they also have to pay all costs.

Dover start next season with a 12 point deduction & a £40k fine.

We have signed quite a few already and seem to be getting in early this season, rather than waiting until the last minute like last season, and ending up with too much dross.

So far we have signed centre-half and ex-Mariner Shaun Pearson, who has spent the past few seasons at Wrexham and also Michee Efete, former Norwich youth and Wealdstone defender, David Longe-King a defender who was at Newport last season, right-back Ryan Sears from Shrewsbury, much travelled midfielder Giles Coke (who was here on a short-term contract last season) but has now signed permanantly, midfielder Ben Fox from Burton Albion, former Accy and Tranmere Portuguese winger Erico Sousa, striker John McAtee from neighbours Scunny and vastly experienced forward Ryan Taylor who was also at Newport last season and I believe used to play for your green friends down the road.

Despite our relegation there is still a rather positive mood around our fans as we have finally got new owners (2 local men made good) and finally got rid of the one constant of our awful last 15 years or so.

Hopefully our stay down there will not be as long as it was last time, but we're definitely under no illusions as to how tough it will be next season.

Opening day fixtures on 21st August if anyone's interested. A trip to Bromley for us and Eastleigh are the first "odd" team not to have a game with there only being 23 teams in the league this season.

The dates we are the "odd" team are Saturday 8th January and Bank Holiday Monday 2nd May, although we'll be playing in The FA Cup 3rd Round on the first date. :)

Aldershot Town v Chesterfield
Barnet v Notts County
Bromley v Grimsby Town
Dover Athletic v Solihull Moors
FC Halifax Town v Maidenhead United
King’s Lynn Town v Southend United
Stockport County v Dagenham & Redbridge
Torquay United v Altrincham
Wealdstone v Woking
Weymouth v Boreham Wood
Wrexham v Yeovil Town

The way things are going at Swindon, I wouldn't rule out a last minute reprieve just yet Les. If the EFL offered it, do you think the Mariners would accept ?

Might be a reprieve for Southend but not us I'm afraid, unless another team goes pop too.
