Weymouth have found the first season back in Non Leagues top flight for the first time in 11 years tricky but have had the luxury of no relegation to worry about.
It was surprise when they won the NLS play offs to gain promotion last season. They were not keen for the season to carry at the time due to the financial issues that it inevitably threw up.Others wanted the NLS play offs to be classed as elite sport hence they went ahead.Ironically they all failed in the promotion bid.
In normal times I would have popped along to The Wessex Stadium for a few midweek games if they did not clash with the Grecians.Hopefully I can do that again next season.

Not a bad season for them.
Fairly comfortably retained EFL status plus a national trophy in the glass cupboard in the boardroom.

They have probably had the classic transitional season, I’d imagine they’re very happy with the way it’s all gone.

Sutton lost 3-2 at Notts County this evening.
They are now 4 points behind Torquay having played one game less.

Sutton had a few games in hand & were sitting pretty only about a month ago,but as we all know points on the board are more meaningful.

Sutton now back in pole position after beating Woking 3:2 last night.

Comfortably mid-table

It's actually on Sunday so Sutton could either turn the screw a little bit more by going 4 points clear on Saturday or slip up and give Torquay a chnce to leapfrog them again.
