Just goes to show how disciplined and resilient they are.
Allot of countries around the world would have social unrest, looting &roiting by now.

The Japanese are traditionally very reserved people.
Uniformed standards and the like. They're doing well given the circumstances, the poor loves.

They also have a great work ethic and i have no doubts that they will re-build in record time, I guess looking at the situation in Haiti, Because they are such a poor country it will take decades for them to recover from their earthquake.

There has been panic buying, though, so maybe they are not that different from us.

The big powers have silenced me. So much for free
They have been panick buying because they have families to feed, with no infrastructure they don't know when the shop will have food again, so have been stocking up. We panic buy at Christmas.

What we do at Christmas is not panic buying to the extent that nothing is left. I have a friend in Tokyo and she said the shelves were completely bare.

Looting would have gone off the end of the scale, if it had happened in Britain!! Look at that bunch of greedy bar-stewards who mopped up at Branscombe beach a couple of years ago!

Yep, the japs are a hard working resilient bunch who rarely complain.

Unlike the lazy lard arsed Brits who think the world owes them a favour.

If that sh*t had happened here, we'd be finished as there'd be bedlam from the outset.
