Surprised to see Roger Moore figuring so prominently - his silly take on the role immortalised by King Connery put me off the franchise for life !
Tend to agree regarding his playing of the role.

I do like this story about him though

By all accounts roger moore was a top man who never took it too seriously,years ago worked with someone who had done some work for him and he confirmed what a nice man he was

Bond was called 007 because ian Fleming used to catch the bus from Canterbury to London and the route number was 007

He always claimed his acting was limited to raising and lowering his eyebrows. :)

Can you imagine the eyebrow action if Roger Moore had played the Casino Royale balls-whipped-with-a-knotted-rope scene instead of Daniel Craig?
