There was a Man Utd FACup tie in the last couple of years that *wasn’t* televised live, the first one since our visit to old Trafford in 2005...I bet no one guessed that the Man Utd game would be televised.
Another thing about the Man Utd tie was that it was preceded IIRC by us having eight consecutive home FACup ties. Then on the ninth when we got drawn away it was at Man Utd, the one where we wanted and needed the away game for the finances.Just feel that we used up about a lifetime’s worth of FA Cup Karma when we drew Man Utd. Alexander-Arnold didn’t play in either of the games against us...On the Liverpool kids, one was a promising right back called Trent Alexander- Arnold, who has gone on to much bigger things.
