7 x 6 = 42, although that relies on being allowed a multiply sign.

Thanks. Wouldn't have done it without the clue. In some ways wish I hadn't because I now feel duty bound to come up with a puzzle of my own. Though maths puzzles keep coming up on my youtube choices so we will see.
