BBC 5Live are broadcasting "From Brazil to the Battlefield" this coming Sunday (12 October) at 9pm.

This documentary is also about City’s 1914 tour to South America and subsequent First World War survival.

Details here

The production has been very slightly reworked since the Bank Holiday broadcast on BBC Radio Devon, but it’s good to think that Exeter City's history will be reaching a national audience this time round on Radio 5 Live.

On twitter, it's @bbcdevon (5Live is @bbc5Live) and you can find them on Facebook too - if you’d like to comment.

For those who haven't listened to it, this is VERY good.

The guy doing the editing has been prioritising other (much better paid) work over this, so it's slow going. The rest of the DVD (special features, menus etc) is all built though, so it shouldn't be too long before you are hearing about a pre-order :)

And who would think we were in Brazil 4 years ago today for the centenary match. Only seems like yesterday

Does anyone at the club know if a DVD was ever done of that show? It was actually really good.

Yes, it was - and it's good. I have a copy, but they are no longer available. I can do a copy for anyone that wants one. PM me if interested.
