Apparently the BBC has made its choice for the actor to play the role of Colonel Tom Moore in its new biopic of a true real life hero.
Sir Lenny Henry is said to chuffed to bits at bagging the role.😎

You have to say, only the BBC would put on a series taking the **** out of itself. It's very funny 🙂

I love the BBC and think the licence fee represents excellent value for money.

Andrew Neil announces his departure from the BBC and his appointment as the Chairman of GB News (Murdoch?), a new broadcast news channel where he’ll front a prime time show. A big loss for the Beeb.

Agree a big loss. But then Andrew is white, male, and over 50 (60) so his face no longer fits.

Hopefully GB news will delve into the reality beyond endless vox pops and 30 second political soundbites.
