The idea that the resignation of one political appointment is somehow indicative of a nest of Tory toadies at the Beeb is laughable.

In the same way as the myth that both the Beeb and the Civil Service are both hornet nests of implanted, seditious, self-loathing lefty infiltrators is equally risible.

As I said to DB the other day I’m happy for you to kid yourselves that the blob doesn’t exist. 👍

You are fully entitled to nurse your own conspiracy theories to your own bosom.
But please allow those who disagree to nurture theirs.
For a bit of balance I offer you the current head of the Civil Service, "Simple Simon", who has strained every sinew post "partygate" to protect his own political masters (as well as his own well paid skin)
I rest my Case.

Well the BBC Arg*le local news will be a place to avoid for a week or more.
"Janine" and "Natalie" have probably each got through a jumbo pack of Duracell's already in their onanistic excitement. 🤢

Aye. Utterly risible.

As regards toadie political appointments at the BBC, how about the Reverend Blair and Greg Dyke ? Although that marriage made in heaven did not end well.

Strange that the Manchester Guardian did not press the "bullying" allegations more.

Seems it was quite popular. Ceremony being on Euronews, Al Jazheera and France 24. I also believe GB News was showing it.
