Just watching tonight’s replacement for MotD2. Frankly, anyone who maintains this is better than the normal show is talking out of their arse. That aside, not much fun for the visually impaired with no commentaries.
Motd2 is a different matter. Mark Chapman is far more watchable than Smugeker.

err...i haven't exactly been hidden away in a bunker for the past week

True story. I'm also a fan of Mark Chapman fwiw. Was good on the NFL show as well.
Re: Chapman - I was never a massive fan, but would take him over Sir Gurning Smugness any day of the week.
