big congrats to Telford United managed by Andy Sinton , won the conference north play off final to go back up into the conference , 7 years after going bust ,
they were our first away game when we dropped into the conference and have had as bad a time as we have good to see them on the up.

Too far from SJP
It's been a long hard slog back from the unibond league after they went to the wall thanks to a property developer. 3 promotions later they are back where there should be. should be well supported as a BSP side. I regularly watch them when City matches don't get in the way

Exeweb Rail travel HQ or so it seems!!
Fair play to Telford and so pleased to see them back in the Conference. Nice stadium the Bucks Head even though it was a "Welcome to Non league Football Exeter City" type of game

A bit like when we played at Tamworth last season. Any decent pubs nearby RaWZ?

Who would live in a house like this?
With the crowd they got yesterday, it makes me wonder whether the Conference is happier to have them or Torquay...

The Bucks Head is on the corner of the ground iirc.....

Telford were continuous members of the Conference from its inception as the Alliance in 1979 & only left Non-Leagues top table when they went bust in 2004..A remarkable 25 years....

The guy who put the money in got a bit of stick when it all went 'tits up' but he left them with the legacy of a good rebuilt ground......Suitable for the FL,because it was a bit of a eyesore in the early 1990's..

I have got the highlights of that game, complete with commentary from Conference TV(only watched it once..:D...)They had a pretty good team iirc with a sprinking of top flight players on silly money, which came back to bit them on the bum...The Grecians were intrested in signing former Gashead Trevor Challis, but were never in with a chance, due to the money that the player wanted...Telford could afford him at that time & i remember Eamon Dolan saying that it would be difficult attracting players for the money the Grecians could offer & that other club managers at that level were doing their best to make it awkward for him to sign anyone...Dark days, which seem a million miles away now.
