Warming the bench in the Championship may not equate to doing the same in the Premier League. They may see (hopefully) that a year of first team League 1 football would do him the world of good.

You don’t score as many goals as he did if your not a decent player.

Also he may have scored a lot of goals with his head but I can still remember him showing a fair deal of football ability with the ball at his feet……scored our last football league goal the season we went down and our first in the Blue Square league……he is a true City legend.
