Presumably it will be an out of contract keeper.

Total speculation but these three appear to be without clubs (according to Wiki), Ben Garrett formerly of Crewe but apparently looking for first team football so might not be a goer, Ted Smith formerly of Southend not much match time but has represented Engerland at U18 U19 & U20 level, and Harry Campbell again not much game time but young and obviously doesn't mind sitting on a bench, and did play for Blackburn so we may be aware of him from them and Kinder

If they are without employment at the moment depends how hungry they are as a player and how much self belief, that they could make an impression but all of their last contracts were a fair way away so unlikely to sign as third choice

If they are unemployed, a short term contract to bring in some dosh in the run up to Xmas might be tempting ?

Probably be a more cost-effective option than flying over an experienced glovesman all the way from Arizona!

Yeah MT said it would be a free agent unless Maxted gets injuried then it would have to be a loan.

Not have to but could be an emergency loan or either a free agent

His interview after the Newport game yesterday said it would be a free agent unless all goalkeepers were injuried then it would be an emergency loan.

Aren't we lucky to have someone with Pete's expertise to call on as a back up op

Yes but aren't we lucky that we may have the option of Pete as an emergency backup. It would be great to see the "expert" in action and watch how a real keeper should perform.
