Here and there
I do think the constant mentioning of Jamie Reid is a bit irrelevant to be honest. Whilst he used to play for us and we are desperately lacking a striker, he went down the leagues before making his way back up, clearly showing he wasn't good enough at the time.

Anyway, he's bound to score on Saturday but we can't be using him as stick to beat the club with.
Another Jamie, Jamie Vardy, came from Fleetwood, the year that they were first promoted to the EFL from non-league. He has done quite well since.

For the past x weeks I have predicted we'll win.

After all, law of averages suggests we probably should at some point.

Anyway, I've got it wrong every time. So guess what I'm going to do? Try a bit of reverse logic....a negative jinx if you like ;)

I predict we're going to lose....and badly.
Another thumping defeat. 😭
Following on from last week's excuse about being "cursed"....
...Shameless Gary Caldwell will use the above post to amend it to "jinxed".
Board (FINALLY) convene an extraordinar(il)y inept General Meeting....but only to discuss whether SGC's inevitable contract extension offer should be slightly adjusted downwards.

When most sides are in a bad patch of form I'd be inclined to agree, but tactically we are so poor, even if we play well by our standards I still can't see us beating anyone.

Even a blind squirrel occasionally finds a nut but we aren't a blind squirrel we're road kill.

If some of GC's appointed cronies could summon up a few pairs of nuts between them we might not be the bunch of spineless rodents caught in every L1 headlight that we seem at the moment.

3-0 (to Stevenage, as if I needed to specify)

Jamie Reid brace, Aimson OG.

Caldwell and Tagg seen out on the beers in Stevenage after the game toasting his contract extension.
