I know you'd expect this from me, but a goal every 3.7 games from a target man, across nearly 80 games is a very decent return. Let's hope he gets back to his goalscoring form soon, to add to the other dimensions of his play. Geddon big man.

The stats also make it even more frustrating that Ajose doesn't get a chance.

I saw the club saying it was his 150th last week, but i am not sure where that figure came from as both his league total and overall total were already over 150. Maybe i will have to tweet Piers himself to see if he knows what he is on!

Looking at soccerbase it was his 150th league start and he has also made 5 sub appareances in the league. It was his 190th game overall. I include playoff games in my ‘league appearances’ which soccerbase show as ‘other’ so we were all correct.

Was there any mention of 100 appearances for Nicky Law on Tuesday? I think we can all agree he was a great signing for us, and whilst this season has been below par compared to previous, he is still a quality player to have starting or on the bench to come on.
Archie Collins now 1 appearance away from 100, and Sweeney 2 away from 200. Bowman's strike rate is now under 1 goal every 3 games.
