(LCB) Hartridge
(LWB) Mitchell
(RCM) Kite
(CM) MacDonald
(LCM) Borges
(ATT) Nombe
(ATT) Cox

Not a bad XI to be fair. I reckon that could be competitive, but the team would certainly lack depth. Could do with a goalie, defender, wing back, midfielder, winger, and a couple of strikers to pad out the squad.

It wouldn't surprise me if McDonald did return up country. I Can see him getting some good offers from clubs up North. Obviously I hope he remains with us, as he is seriously good.

Subs bench initially I'd have thought while he gets his confidence back. Unless he has a really good pre-season.

Six weeks on from the OP and....nothing has changed... No new signings and no departures/sales of anyone who was under contract for next season.

Just over 2 weeks to the first pre season friendly and seven weeks to the first League One fixture.

All that money spent on the Cat 'n' Fiddle, yet as things stand it is going to be a bit of a ghost town next week ! Looking on the brightside however at least we will be able do some five on five work !
