I agree he is, but I don't see him playing regularly.
I tend to agree with this as I think Aimson was brought in to be that RCB. Sweeney is certainly good enough to be with us in league one but as Martin has said the data does show that he is not a high end performing League One CB and does make some costly mistakes which lead to goals and chances for the opposition.

Having said all that, MT told Sweenz he had no future at the club 2 seasons ago and he forced his way back into the starting lineup and probably had his best season so it will be interesting to see how it all plays out.

It really isn't. The stats don't lie. Failed clearances and headed clearances that don't clear the penalty box are a problem for him. Even today at Bath, his heading was a notable weakness. I still like him, as he is a talent on the ball, but I fear that talent will only take him so far.
The way Aimson played today would think his position is in doubt
Did not like him right side of a back three
Sweeney is much there

From what I have seen of Aimson don’t think he is as good as Sweeney at RCB
Aimson has to made costly mistakes at the back
Aimson is ok in the middle but I prefer Diabate there
A much stronger player who has filled out and will win most headers in league 1 against teams we play

Jury is still out for me regarding Aimson...think we have better options within the squad currently, and we're potentially looking to improve anyway.

Should never have been made captain and hasn't really impressed thus far personally.

I think Gary will play 3-5-1-1 in the opening game. Pack the midfield and look to attack down the flanks with speed.
