With the Big Bank being our USP I suspect there are more than a few on here who would rather stay down than go up and have to seat it.
You have to be in the Champ for 3 years for starters. Beyond that, safe standing and the shift in approach with standing in general means it's not something to worry about 😅

No reason not to extend the SELCO backwards if we ever needed to, yes we have a building behind it. maybe we start buying up the houses on St james Road and double deck it. Maybe we move.

There is shedloads of room behind the selco right up to the car park area why would you need to buy any houses? And to point out the bleeding obvious we are hardly Liverpool able to afford a Compulsary Purchase of lived in housing :)

I’m sure the new stand was built with the potential to be extended into the gap?

Having to seat the BB would be horrible.
That gets you about 120 seats at a cost of around £2M - not sure that's a good use of any money we get?

Indeed, not necessarily saying it’s a good idea, just that I was pretty sure the stand has the potential to be extended.

It is certainly possible to extend it in the other direction, and to wrap around the corner in conjunction with a rebuilding of the away end.

In the modern era (2004 onwards) only Burton Albion (6,912) have had a smaller capacity ground than us that have been in the Championship. The next two would be Yeovil Town (9,565) & Colchester United (10,105).

Burton Albion lasted 2 seasons
Colchester United lasting 2 seasons
Yeovil Town lasting 1 season

But the contract states the fans have to sing ‘Selco, it’s where the trade go’ every 15mins! 🤣
