Next season is the breakthrough season for Sonny in an ecfc shirt.
Caldwell has to agree to play him first.

A surprising opportunity to see how Sonny is getting on tomorrow night.

Bath's home game -v- Dulwich is being streamed live on National League TV. I haven't used that service before (looks like its not on BT Sport, unlike some games in the National League proper)

It's the replay of the game that was abandoned because of the injury to Alex Fletcher. Entry to the ground is free but they ask for donations.

Sonny Cox plays another 95 minutes in a 2-1 win. Bath have won 7 of their last 9 matches in 4 weeks. Sonny starting continuously Sat-Tues-Sat , partly because their squad has been hit by injuries so they only have 11 or 12 first team squad players available. Plays in several different forward positions.

Bath have moved from the bottom half to 2 points off the play offs. Pretty much the perfect loan spell all round (though Sonny would probably like a few more goals - but its about the team, not the individua!l)

Should we start giving Sonny Cox 10 to 15 minute run outs to see if he could replace Stansfield role next season?1

Managers don't like giving young players "token" appearances in the first team. It sends the wrong message, and can cause players to drop their levels. I don't see this happening, unless we have an injury crisis.

Cox is almost certainly going to need at least one more loan before he's ready to play league 1 football.

Cox is two years younger than Jay Stanno, so I agree that next year will probably be another year of loans, ideally in the National League where hopefully he can get a good number of starts (and goals!).
