Good riddance i say. Lets hope the person who gets elected will get FIFA's house in order but i do have my doubts

Great news and about time. Shame the new person won't be in until early 2016 but at least the ball is rolling now. Don't think there will now be a boycott of 2018 World Cup but hope the change is the right one and fifa gets a proper leader.

both of them could do a brilliant job there with getting rid of the old guard and bringing in people who have football in their hearts and not cash like those that are there at the moment !

Bring in people who football fans around the world respect ? Ginola, Figo, Collena, Beckham these are the sort of people who should be running international football tournaments

Blatter made sure the next 2 world cups would still go ahead where he wanted them to go before he left.

It appears the FAI accepted a £3.6 million pay off from FIFA for not taking legal proceedings against FIFA following the Tierry Henry handball in the World Cup qualifier. Looks dodgy on the FAI as well as FIFA
