A morning at a kids soft play centre and an afternoon watching the rain hit the windows has done for me.

Would love a game of 6 a side but no sign of that changing soon.

😂

I'm too old and slow to even make those these days. Definitely edging towards walking football. A run around so I can't walk the next day would be heaven

Yes the darker evenings are really beginning to sap the spirit now, nomally it's football, fireworks, socialising, swimming, travel and heavy drinking that get me through the dark months, not so this year. Just heard that to liven things up people are putting up all their xmas decos already, how depressing is that?

I love Autumn. My favourite season. Not affected by the seasonal changes. They all have something different and special about them. Exercise and planning are good ways to help. Planning, from simple excursions to full blown holidays. Something to look forward to always cheers you up and keeps you going.
My wife suffers from depression and ME, and doesn’t like this time of year. Doctor advised her to buy a daylight lamp to put on in any room she is spending time in when it is dark outside. She says it helps but I find it too bright and distracting. It works for her though.

Think it was one of these. You can buy them cheaper than this if you shop around.

As a boy in my 40s I’ve started noticing this more and more. Never affected me at all in me youth. But does now, worsened slightly this year by WFH and barely leaving a one square mile from my house on a school night.

Remember dear old Lego suffering quite badly earlier in the year, hope he's coping, especially living up north. :(

Been "MIA" since late August, do hope that he's OK.

In his last post on 1/8 he self banned himself after a spat with Hants. Shame, I rather liked Lego.
