At least they’ll get to play Keith.
So will Brechin have a chance or bouncing back next season? I know a few NDG members who will be peeved off that they've been relegated, Plus side, Some new beautifully located stadiums to visit.Brechin City will play next season in The Highland League.
They had wanted to join the Lowland League but that was unanimously objected to by all 17 clubs in that league, despite a reported offer of £1000 to each team for the away fixture at Glebe Park.
If they win the Highland League first. So will Brechin have a chance or bouncing back next season?
Will they be a "Big fish in a small pond"?If they win the Highland League first.
I wonder why the Lowland League did not want them ?
Travelling wise there is not a great deal of difference for Brechin between the two leagues.
There are a few good teams in the Highland League.Brora Rangers will be the team to be the yardstick against. Will they be a "Big fish in a small pond"?
That's one name I often see in the early rounds of the Scottish FA Cup.There are a few good teams in the Highland League.Brora Rangers will be the team to be the yardstick against.
Something fishy going on there Olds, A (One) complaint and this happens? It doesn’t rain it pours for Fort William FC.
The Highland League have decided that all of The Forts games scheduled for Claggan Park will be played at opponents grounds for the 21/22 season !
Bizarrely a complaint from ‘a concerned member of the public’ was received by the Highland League Committee about the condition of the pitch, triggering a inspection of Claggan Park last Friday.
The pitch had drainage installed during the long lay off in 20/21,which makes the present scenario all the more stranger.
This could be terminal for the club.
It all seems very odd. Can’t see how they can survive without the takings from home games & the clubhouse.Something fishy going on there Olds, A (One) complaint and this happens?
