A collectors item last night.Fort William won a away game in the Highland League for the first time since Sept 2016.
A single goal win at Clachnacuddin.
The game was played at Inverness rugby club after a fire in Clachs clubhouse put the dressing rooms out of action.
Fort William will be partying all night 🥳 (y)

Hopefully be able to take in a game or two in Scotland in the summer. Ayr United ideally due to where i'm staying and then Fort William.

I can recommend Somerset Park,Ayr..Nice old style ground.
There was a plan to move from there a decade ago but it fell through.

A good idea to try & catch a game at Fort William in the summer months(Scottish season usually starts late July) Their ground is notoriously known for getting waterlogged,it’s not unknown for them to have double digit postponements at Claggen Park during the season.

I'm up there the last week of July so hopefully that coincides with some games somewhere. I'd like to go to an Ayr United game though for some odd reason. :giggle:

A bit of trivia about Ayr United.
They were the last senior club in the UK to have floodlights installed(1969) 😁

I had forgotten that alcohol sales were still banned in Scottish senior football grounds(not Social Clubs at stadiums)
