The shock of the tragedy at Ibrox Park will lead to a Inquiry,eventually leading to The Safety at Sports Ground Act (1975)Local authority’s would be responsible for inspection & the issuing of a Ground Safety Certificate.

It only applied to the English First Division grounds & the fledging Scottish Premier League.

English Second Division grounds were encompassed into the act in the summer of 1979.

The rest of the Football League & Scottish Leagues in 1985 after the Bradford fire.

Smokies in the pub opposite the ground.Tutties Neuk.The landlady looked like someone who would not put up with any nonsense on a Friday night,though she took a shine to me I felt

Ended up losing my good lady in Dundee the previous evening after a curry with about 9 other Grecians inc AP.I ended up in a Gay karaoke bar(I guess a LBGT bar these days!)
