MJ always had the skills, just needed to translate that into effectiveness on the first team pitch. Law has blocked him to an extent the past two years as he has developed that but he is in on merit now.

Think he was just very small too, this League is very physical, has bulked himself up a bit.

Takes some players more time than others for whatever reason including size and strength. Leon Osman didn't really get in until 22/23 at Everton but then had a long career there.

Jamie Vardy, Ian Wright, Chris Waddle, the list goes on, yes you see 17 year olds doing remarkable things and start writing ones that don't do it off, but many do mature later, if they are willing to work and have the right attitude. MJ has all the talent and shills, he finally looks a consistent footballer.

And Tony Kellow and Matt Taylor can be added to that list if you are looking for City examples.

Five goals so far, four of them from academy graduates ( all five if you credit Jay’s shot instead of Ajose deflection).

Good point someone has already made about MJ. Hope he is on a contract beyond the end of this season; he could be in demand soon.

Just watched the Matt Taylor interview. He's talking about an incident where we might have got a penalty and they might have had a player sent off. Seems he asked the referee for clarification about the incident. I dont know to what incident he refers. Any idea boys?

The Bridge Inn….on a good day.
Those are some inspiring words. I'm sure MT's making notes.
He should. Earlier subs could have won us the game.
