Hardly a massive influx of quality players down at Chez Gnome, so far three rats from sinking Bury and a loser from Wallsall. With the departure of several arguably much better players Slime must be wondering where Lowe is going to find that promotion winning team? He sacked their head of recruitment and then showed that he genuinely has no contacts in the game.

Oh dear, they've lost 3:1 to Torquay!

Oh dear seems Bolton are after Lowe as their new manager, although as Argo are only asking £200 k as "compo", they can't be that keen on keeping him ! :ROFLMAO:

small change for an actual big club like Bolton, rumour we have agreed to play that lot in a pre season friendly with the small Cornish club keeping the proceeds.

If they want an ex-Argo manager they could alternatively rescue Delbauy from Morecambe !

Or maybe Lowe will make the step up to Bolton and old Delbauy will over see his second Argyle relegation?

win win for everyone then, Apart from Argyle but that’s just life isn’t it?

Since when was a move from L1 to L2 a "step up"? (Although old Hands So-Lowe does have "previous" for career moves of that kind)

Maybe he just fancies the chance of a unique treble ? Can't imagine anyone has achieved three successive promotions from league 2 to league 1 with three different Clubs ! Either wants to be a specialist, or else reckons that he has reached his ceiling and is scared stiff of falling flat on his face in League 1 !

To be fair though, compared with (Dead &) Bury, Argiggle was a mahoosive move.

And, in the eyes of at least one on here, a further move to Notlob Wonderers would be even more mahoosively mahoosive (or, as Donald T might phase it "bigly big")

since we have won more trophies, more of a history and played top flight football unlike that lot.

that’s the general argument that seems to be winding them up the most.

Lowe is a whining scouser, end of.he will be back up north like a rat up a pipe as soon as a decent club offers him the deal, those deluded janners think he has loyalty to them, just like Holloway who buggered off to Leicester city !
