I love Ryan Bowman, me.
Which was your favourite goal from that lot?

There should have been a 20th goal in that collection. His headed goal from the free kick at Walsall, if it hadn't been for a stupid linesman.

Not forgetting the disallowed effort at PV.

And of course Ryan contributes much more than just goals. Judging by the last two posts if wrongly ruled out efforts had been called correctly his tally would be very good.

The header at Walsall - mainly because I was there, I'd just spent 10 minutes telling everyone around me that Bowman was going to score, it was into the away end, it finished a great move and he did well to keep the header down below the bar, given how high it was. I also loved the header at Salford, but that would have been so much better into the away end, I could only properly admire the great man after watching it on TV when I got home.

I’d say the volley at home to Mansfield closely followed by the header at Salford the away seating area provided a pretty good view of that one.

I wonder if for fun the SM team would be brave enough to put up some of Bow’s head in hands moments 😉😬😊

Bowman is a decent L2 striker. Works hard for the team.

If his GPG was much better we'd lose him, as we did Stockley

Bowman offers something we've not really had for a long time, not since Steve Flack. He drops deep and attacks from there, hold the ball up. Quality striker and to be honest just what we need.

Consistently underrated for song writing purposes even by those who like him 😉.

D'oh!

It wasn't meant seriously. Snowman just rhymes with Bowman.
