Being reported on one of the Carlisle United chat sites that their former player and ex-Exeter City midfielder, Russell Coughlin, was killed in a road accident in Carlisle last night.

Played 68 times for City in the mid 90s. He'd previously been at Argyle where he played over 130 times. He finished his career with Torquay.

I use to train and have a drink with Russell when he lived in Dawlish, we use to go out with Stuart Storer and Mark Came especially on Friday nights and have a few beers he was a good lad, sad news
