We will come up maybe 6 points short and all those drawn games at home will bite us non the arse.

Agree generally although we might scrape draws against Argyle and Northampton and beat Morecambe which would give us a total of 16 points = 69 points. Not enough leaving us finishing just outside the play-off positions unless of course three or four teams currently above us have a dip in form. The crazy thing is had we had even an average home record we would now be looking realistically at securing a place in the play-offs.

At the risk of sounding like a cracked record, it's not crazy, it's a basic element of league football. Ever since 3 points for a win were introduced in 1981, draws have been bad news for teams wanting to get promotion. At the extreme, 46 draws would usually get you relegated (though probably not this year...); 23 wins and 23 defeats would get you to the 69 points you mention.
