I read that the youth are off to foreign climes, pre season.

Good that there's one at SJP, I've missed that in recent years. Hopefully a Prem club.

They will be off to foreign climes building their International fanbases. We will be lucky to scrape a Championship side like Swansea or Brizzle City, and they more than likely would put out a reserve team !

Wow...That must have taken some research.

The game against Chelsea in August 1981 was the only one I’ve been to where there had been a load of aggro at a ‘friendly’ game...It continued later on around the Quay nightclubs & then at the hospital between the injured parties.

Great to see a game listed at Gras Lawn(Barrack Rd) in 1996. That was the University teams football pitch. A very good one too. Sadly long disappeared under a posh housing estate now.
