Well done to Plymouth on what sounded like a very brave performance. Even though it was only in a minor trophy and you didn't quite get the win, you can take a lot of heart from the way you battled and harried our players and didn't make it easy for us. That performance could be a turning point in your season.

Sounded that way. I did fear that plucky Argyle were about to pull off a massive cup upset but in the end the minnows probably couldn't quite believe they had made it as far as they had and froze when then the crucial moment came. You see it all the time when there is such a gulf in class on paper - plenty of heart from the underdog while the big team play poorly and manage to grind out a win.

Do you think Argyle's goal will be remembered like Ronnie's rocket?

Erm - I hate to break it to you but we did beat the team bottom of the football league given that the rules of the competition allowed it to be settled on penalties. Granted not as emphatically won as we would have liked but all the same we did win.

Agree entirely , up to the penalties easily better than us. Credit where due , well done to them.
