Really could do with a win. Both us and them are out of sorts so I reckon we should go for it.
If we lose and he starts jay he’ll get absolute pelters, and rightly soWith Sweeney missing I'd like to see Key in the back 3, and Sparkes in the full back position.
I would like to see Nombe, Brown and Stanno all starting, but I fear that GC has moved away from that option now.
Will we finally see Jay start a game?
There are different types of 'out of sorts'. From the outside it seems like you've been competitive in most matches and unlucky not to win one or two of them. We've been pretty rotten for a couple of months after a decent, but flattering, start. There have been one or two mitigating circumstances - e.g. we were starting with what would have been our 5th/6th choice central midfielders in October, due to injuries - and currently have no fit right-backs, despite that being the one single position we have three first-teamers who are specialists (as we failed to sell one of them in August).Really could do with a win. Judging by GC's comments about Key on the MyNewFootballClub podcast I think it's unlikely we'll see him in the back three again. With Sweeney missing I'd like to see Key in the back 3, and Sparkes in the full back position.

Flattery will get you everywhere. There are different types of 'out of sorts'. From the outside it seems like you've been competitive in most matches and unlucky not to win one or two of them. If you put a shift in as you did against Argyle on TV a few weeks back, then I fancy you could get back to winning ways.
And we'll buy you a beer in the FECRACE !Flattery will get you everywhere.
It's not flattery by any stretch, simply saying what I see. We've been largely horrible for about two and a half months for a variety of reasons. It's the first time I've felt a bit of a groundswell among the fans during the Cowley tenure but, as someone who has followed their club for a while, I have enough experience to know that if we don't start to make improvements very quickly that things will get pretty toxic; at which point you rapidly hit a point of no return.Flattery will get you everywhere.
Thanks GiG. If I were down there on Boxing Day (and not driving), I'd definitely be tempted by the real ale and would happily buy a pint or two to contribute to the good fight. If we're competing in the same division next term and we don't get a SJP visit on a Tuesday night/Boxing Day I can make that a reality again - would be nice to sample the replaced away end.And we'll buy you a beer in the FECRACE !

One thing I never want to see again is key in the back 3. That creates a problem right there, such a waste of JK natural attacking talent. There is no way he is ever a CB. We need to stop reverting back to things that clearly don’t work. With Sweeney missing I'd like to see Key in the back 3, and Sparkes in the full back position.
