Who has Liz Truss been interviewed by? Talk TV, GB News and Sky. Refuses to go on the Today programme, or face Andrew Neil. What a strong leader she's going to be....
Bozza didn't face Neil in the lead up to the GE 2019 (whereas Corbyn did). Didn't do the Tories any harm.

And hid in a fridge too, How did that go in the long term?

You're clearly happy to have a Prime Minister who will only talk to friendly media. I'm not. This is straight out of the Trump/Erdogan/Modi/Orban playbook. Seeing people being profoundly uneasy about such a development gives you lots of lolz. And what more is there to care about than all the right people being annoyed? Nothing, obvs

So the Beeb bosses sanctioned her? Did their job then?
In the face of the bias of one of their top news presenters, yes. 🤷‍♂️
Sorry DB, is your point now that because the Beeb has sanctioned the wrongdoing of one its people, the left leaning culture that pervades (IMO) the likes of the BBC doesn’t exist or is somehow excused?

Wouldn't it be easier to list why you think it's left leaning? You've used the word pervades as you clearly believe it's throughout as opposed to just within the news.

The left will often hark to the perceived vilification of Corbyn on the news, but rarely do they suggest it's right bias is throughout the corporation.

Personally, I think nearly all print and tv media is almost at the stage of all of it being opinion pieces and/or dumbed down so much anyone that has a vague knowledge of the subject will find it unwatchable(or unreadable)

A bit of a way to go yet until GE policies and manifesto promises are set in stone. But Truss's words on Sturgeon probably bagged the Tories a couple of million guaranteed votes there and then.
What do mean it's a bit early for policies?
The hustings and leadership debate have been overflowing with policy proposals.
You still haven't answered Arts question.

Touring Central Java...
The pantomime continues.
So much to laugh about, although the people who will seriously struggle through the winter won't be laughing much.

But never fear, Liz Truss (the one who couldn't make any serious trade deals) will come to the Nation's rescue, riding into power on a Blackpool beach donkey, with Union Jack in one hand and a mirror in the other, wrapped in a mahoosive cloak with a photo of a grimacing Piffle imprinted.
Yes, this person, who has never actually achieved anything and is only famous for being famous, will save the nation!
Hope she calls an election.....

Interesting analysis from the associate editor of a right of centre publication

"Political parties exist to win power and get things done, but that doesn’t always mean they really want it. The Tories in the late 1990s were so exhausted and chaotic at the end of their lengthy spell in government that being chucked out of government almost seemed a kindness, like an elderly driver having their licence taken away after too many near misses. Labour visibly breathed a sigh of sad relief in 2010 when it lost that election – and so many of its senior figures today talk privately about how “we needed that time in opposition to regroup and work out what we stood for”.

The Conservatives did, after Boris Johnson’s 2019 victory, believe that they had found the political alchemist’s dream of being able to regenerate while in government rather than doing so in opposition. Some among them think that’s still the case, with the contest unearthing new exciting faces such as Kemi Badenoch, Tom Tugendhat and Penny Mordaunt. They now hope to use that alchemy to win a historic fifth term in power. But the way they’re behaving at present suggests they’d privately quite like the next term to be from the comfort of opposition where they don’t have to take any difficult decisions for a while."
