I said that New Labour were guilty of the blame everyone else and yes this lot are as bad, TBH we're always a "Be-actch" to any US President.
You actually went further than that and said this current lot were the worst.
When I seek to compare on moral grounds any PM with the Blair/Campbell era I simply recall the ‘repatriation’ ceremonies of the fallen we saw during his time, and use that as the metric.
Many of those who currently bleat about BJ’s morals are basically dripping about his relationship with cake.

Sorry, As I'm on my phone the words are smaller, Don't quite get the repatriation ceremonies bit, As for your constant use the bit about cake, You know very well it was more than this, He made the rules and broke them, Lied about breaking them and let's not forget No10 was the place where the most Covid fines were issued in the whole of the UK. He was and is a charlatan, Only interested in what's in it for him and those in Government now were part of his abject chaos whilst PM.

You need to widen your reading sources too.
Anthony Seldon has written biographies of all recent Prime Ministers, so I feel he is a reliable sauce. He also wrote this, in Not the Guardian, so you can't really say he has prejudged the issue

Do not forget his suggestion to a pregnant girlfriend - "why don't you have an affair with someone else and you can blame it on him". You might suggest Tavy "widens his reading sources" :p

If Johnson does what's been reported and actually bypasses the Government and gives his Wattsapp msg etc direct to the Covid inquiry, Does that mean A, It makes the Government legal case pointless and B, Would the Government put an injuction on Johnson to stop him doing it?

C. Just give him the safe seat he craves in Henley (or in mad-Nad's Mid Bed) if he promises to forget the whole thing.
Although (just a thought) given Johnson's entire career as a serial liar why are Fishi and his crew panicking so? Surely anything contained (unredacted or not) would be disregarded as just "Bozza being Bozza" once again?

It's not the Johnson stuff they're worried about, it's the Sunak, Cummings, Hancock material.....
