Since 2005 the alleged Chinese spy has according to The Sun ‘donated’ £675K to either Baz Gardiner or the Labour Party.
Hmm, could get interesting.

It could. In fairness though, it's just a continuation of what's being seen elsewhere wrt their takeover of this country by stealth. First they came for our schools, universities & colleges....!

Chinese spy discovered working for an MP in the House of Commons.
Rumours Barry Gardiner is the MP.
Is that the best they could manage? :D

Purely out of interest I wonder how much Putin's Russian "spies" have donated to the Tories over that period.
Let's face it, a paltry £625k would probably not even cover the entry fees to a single of their "black and white balls"...and as for a game of racquets with Govey, or an invite to wine and cheese in the Rose Gardens? Well at least add a bought-nought or two on the end.

And nuclear power infrastructure?...and mobile comms networks?? The welcome mat has been at least as blue as it has been red.
Still, any deflection in a storm, eh?
(And if it was in the old Snoreaway it must, or course, be FCAT, obvs) 🙄

Johnson is still a useful idiot for Tory MPs. With the cost of living crisis likely to get worse, people will increasingly link it to Johnson's Brexit. He will therefore act as a sponge for public anger. He'll step aside in a year or so to give his replacement 12 months before the next general election. That's the best option the Tories have and of course, they think of Tories first and the country second.
This is accurate. If all the opprobrium is directed at Johnson then the Tory party itself can escape relatively unscathed......

Any "foreign" money coming into a sovereign nation isn't right. Labour will get loads of abuse for this, rightly so. I hope the conservatives live by the same rules.

Well it is pretty good. If it had been Boris, I imagine you'd be like an even more excited child before Xmas.

But of course as it's the other side, it's a mere trifle.
