There is always someone to take over.
Exactly, It's like a football manager, You can't keep a lame duck on just because its "Better the devil you know" or "Who would take over?" there is always someone that can do the job, No PM is bigger than the Country.

The Tory Party are, however, bigger than the country.

Not a great day for the "establishment" is it?

Neither for the Grand Old Duke of York...

Nor, earlier, for the Grand Old Duke of Pork(ies)

Not really, but for Andy it's a bit easier - he can just pay her off.

Of course not....if it was held tomorrow. But we're not even half way through the current term. Lots can and will happen in the interim.

I seem to recall Mrs T was lagging badly in the polls for the longest time circa 1981 with unemployment rife and interest rates sky high. Then 1983 happened.
You have conveniently forgotten to mention that winning the Falklands War may have had something with Mrs T's boost in popularity!!!! If we are drawing analogy with Thatcher 1990 is more apt. Remember she won a 102 seat majority in 1987, 3 years later she was stabbed in the back by her own Party!

Maybe Boris should order the army to invade France? We could sort out the refugee problem properly then, as well as giving the frogs a good kicking. Boris would be crowned King. Good old England.

And you are carrying on as if something similar can't happen in the next 2.5 years.

Like I said, it's a long time.

Some geezer is up a ladder smashing the Eric Gill sculptures on the BBC building. Remember, no legal precedent has been set. 😎
NB. Good call DB! 👍

Aye. But only once the lawyers have taken him for loads of dollars and reach the point where the case is "fee exhausted"
