On that rationale, Michael Fabricant calling Muslims "barbarians" would therefore work the other way if someone stabbed a Muslim? Of course not, nor should it.

Agree with that.
There is simply no justification for his actions, but that won’t stop AR being viewed negatively by some. She was warned though and had the opportunity to withdraw her remarks, but let’s be honest she revelled in the kudos she was getting from the hard left, so not much sympathy for her TBH.
