You've already answered my question. An agreement is an agreement. Other talk is superfluous to the main pointI would say pay me or I will sue you. So what is the EU’s loss in this matter ?

You say everyone could really see it but I don"t remember the Irish border question being raised at all in the press, by politicians or even on Exeweb in the lead up to the referendum or in the early days of post- referendum. So you're saying everyone knew about it but nobody mentioned it. Doesn't ring true to meEveryone could really see it, but if anyone is giving the current government the benefit of doubt of clutching at skirts and being shocked at the nasty EU...
Let's face it. The vast majority of the UK don't really care about NI's situation when it comes to Brexit and it is something the government think they can play fast and loose with.
I wasn't really talking about the Irish border around referendum time but at the time Boris and the ERG and DUP were attacking Theresa May's backstop solution to the problem of having to have a border between the UK and EU (in Ireland which everyone wants to avoid due to GFA) if a trade deal could not be reached when she was PM. If you click my link in the previous post you can see at the bottom of the story May predicting a border down the Irish Sea which is what Boris negotiated and agreed to in the WA he voted for and signed and is now trying to renege on.You say everyone could really see it but I don"t remember the Irish border question being raised at all in the press, by politicians or even on Exeweb in the lead up to the referendum or in the early days of post- referendum. It was interesting that Ed Milland did a much better job of roasting Boris in the HOC yesterday than Starmer ever could. That should be a bit worrying for Labour. Say what you like about Ed, he's got a lot more passion and spunk than the wooden one.The IM bill passes its second reading with a majority of 77 votes. Some rebellion.
Someone tell the MSM that this isn’t 2019 and we kicked the ‘rotten parliament’ out last December.
