Definitely worth avoiding ... although google maps has the quickest route to Lincoln from SW going further south of here on M1 for J21-J21a @ Liecester. ... make plans, arrive in plenty of time etc etc. :)
If travelling by that route, I would be avoiding Newark at all costs.

I suggest picking up the A607 just north east of Leicester and travel via Melton and Grantham keep on the A607 until it meets the A15 in a place called Bracebridge Heath just outside Lincoln [for the more active SB is walkable from bbh] otherwise carry on down Cross 'O Cliffe hill and the common parking is on the right at the bottom of the hill. The A607 is a little tortuous in places, but it avoids the traffic chaos in Newark.

I got this bit last time. Not a great view

Out of interest what stand are away fans normally in...thought it was a bonus getting the Stacey West on Saturday??

Think it depends on the potential ticket sale of the opposition,Yeovil were at the same end as the Grecians were on Good Friday.

A block in the stand at the opposite end to the Stacey West Stand(corner) plus that bus shelter stand..iirc about 420 between those 2 stands...
