This thread is irrelevant. We will finish in the top three no bother

I don't want to go back to Wembley again any time soon.
Me neither. Already booked to go to the US then. Top 3 or nothing.

Also the ground staff need time to work on the pitch.

nobody could argue with Tisdale's play off record, the four semi final second leg matches were the best matches we had under his reign, getting to Wembley was never a problem. It was just the final itself that proved tricky.
Have you thought of this scenario?

City get to Wembley for the third year running, playing MK Dons, and Tis' gets a hat trick of play off final defeats?!?!?

I doubt that many have NOT thought of this one Larry. I’ve already discussed the possibility of this with my wife as it also falls on my birthday. That would be a wonderful birthday present!

Look forward to wishing you a Happy Birthday!! I wonder how many, who currently DON'T want to see another Wembley appearance, would change their mind if it were against MK?!?!

Backing Gary Caldwell, thanks Matt and good luck.
A lot of football to come which could see us finish outside the play offs or going up automatically, however I would hope we can finish at least 7th with what will hopefully continue to be an almost fully fit squad.

I could do with arranging some time off just in case. I work Sunday and Thursday evenings and in previous seasons we have played three play off semi's on those days. I would imagine the first leg will be either sat 11th or sun 12th with the second legs either weds 15th or thurs 16th depending on what tv wants so it could suddenly be something else.

I am also down to work until lunchtime on the day of the final.

Volunteer ticket sellers have been put on standby because it is possible that the first leg of any playoff semi-final this season might be as early as Thursday 9th, as L2 (3.00 kick offs on Saturday 4th) finishes before L1 (5.30 kick offs) and Championship (12.30 Sunday kick offs). As Monday 6th is a bank holiday this could mean a very tight timetable.
